Rules & Regulations Residents
Need to Follow

Reasons for Immediate Eviction:

  • Uttering threats or violence.
  • Possession of weapon(s), illicit drug(s), alcohol, or paraphernalia.
  • Smoking in the house. (Smoking allowed in designated areas only).
  • Refusing witnessed urine screening for drugs and alcohol.
  • Participating in illicit or illegal activities such as prostitution, selling/purchasing drugs, shoplifting, not abiding by bail/probation/parole/C.S.O. conditions.
  • Sexual advances to residents or staff.
  • Property Damage.
  • Using illicit drugs on the property or offering drugs to other resident(s).

As a Resident of
New Vision You Are Required To:

  • Participate in the maintenance of the house according to the assigned chore(s).
  • Be present in the group Monday to Thursday.
  • Be on time to attend the programs.
  • Sign out when leaving the property and sign in when returning.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a spirit of cooperation with staff and other residents to the best of my ability.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.

 Upon arrival at New Vision, all residents are bound by one-month restriction. The first two weeks housebound and the following two weeks on the buddy system. No cell phones for the first two weeks. Depending on your court order some houses do not have cell phone or internet use.

Observe Curfew

Please note curfew is at 10 pm daily unless a court order indicates an earlier time. All doors will be locked at 10 pm. 

There will be no entry after hours unless permission is granted by your Bail or Probation Officer in writing.

Telephone Usage

Residents may contact their family with the permission of the staff. All other phone calls must have prior staff approval.

Abandoned Property

Please note you are responsible for your property, and if you leave the property or are discharged, please take your personal items with you. All discarded property will only be store for two weeks, after which it will be donated to the local thrift store.

Reporting of Breach Protocol

When a resident violates his court conditions or house rules and regulations, the local police department will be contacted to inform them of the breach, followed by a phone call to the Bail Supervisor / Probation Officer. A letter will follow to the Bail Supervisor / Probation Officer within 24 hours of the breach.
